RULES

Who can receive food assistance?
Proof of address by photo ID is requested when applying for assistance. The Pantry provides emergency food for families and individuals in:
Oak Lawn ~ Hometown ~ Worth ~ Burbank
Chicago Ridge ~ Alsip
Pantry Hours 10:00 a.m. to  12:00 p.m. Tuesday & Fridays.
A family may receive assistance once a month, 12 times in a 12-month period.
Where do I go to get food?
9411 S. 51st Avenue, Oak Lawn.  Enter through the courtyard on 51st Avenue.
How can I help the Pantry?
The pantry is a volunteer effort supported by donations from individuals, churches and community groups.  You can help by:  Bringing food or cash donations to: 9411 S. 51st Ave. 60453. Open: 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday-Friday.

Getting your workplace, school, church or community group to hold a food drive.
The church can furnish a list of items needed.  Some basic Items needed by the Pantry include:

  • Canned Spaghetti and other one-can meals
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Pasta & Spaghetti Sauce
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Diapers

SHARE THE HARVEST!
We will have a collection basket in the back of the church, each Sunday.  You can contribute produce from your garden that will then be shared with our Food Pantry clients.
In keeping with Jesus’ spirit of hospitality, we ask that you bring your best produce to share, thanks to all who want to share from their gardens.  For information call (708)422-4200.
